FireFly is a different kind of energy company and we are always seeking out better energy solutions to help our customers, the community and the environment.

We are a division of Ag Energy Co-operative; a Member-owned co-operative formed in 1988 to provide energy products and services to its Members, primarily greenhouse operators. In late 2003, the Co-operative opened its doors to other agricultural producers, enterprises and residential consumers in Ontario under FireFly Energy. FireFly is influenced by the values of the Co-operative. You will benefit from their expertise and ability to secure the best prices possible for our customers.

We have undertaken initiatives to reduce our own environmental footprint.

We have a 50 panel solar power system on the roof of our office building in Guelph, ON. Any electricity produced is sold and sent to the province’s power grid through the “Standard Offer Program” with the Ontario Power Authority. Our system is one of the largest in Ontario, showcasing our philosophy of being both innovative and energy conscious.
